The Destination

The blog for today is about a destination that we cannot see. I think this is relevant in everyone's life as we all get hit with the big question of "what's next!?". This is relevant for all the people who are stuck in that one spot where they do not know what is next.

What does the bible say about the future because our destination is our future, right ? Well, in Jeremiah 29:11 the bible says "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." The previous quote was the exact words of God. God promises us a bright future that we can look forward to everyday. God never planned for us to live a mediocre life but he planned for us to fulfill our dreams and live life abundantly.

I know growing up I always worried about "what's next" and always questioned God why I have not got what I wanted. I did not understand why but I came to realize that God's ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8). God has always gave me what I prayed for or blessed me with something even greater than what I asked for. God will give us what we need, not want.

God will destroy your plans before it destroys you and often times God will redirect us into His plan which means canceling out ours. God will also put you in the right place at the right time. He is a sovereign God that knows when, where and how you will flourish in life for His glory. Unfortunately, we are stuck in the boundaries of time and have to wait for everything but this builds our character and faith in which God loves! I will never understand the when and why's of life but I do understand how God wants us to have faith in Him because it's like the engine that starts every dream.
